Cotes des Roses Rose

A soft, pale, brilliant pink with bluish tints developing over time towards more orangey nuances. The bouquet releases aromas of summer fruits, cassis and red currant. Floral notes of rose along with hints of grapefruit complete the picture. The finish is fresh, offering notes of candy. On the palate the impression is fresh and full, with great aromatic persistence and balance... a beautiful wine for your Valentine.

Rosa di Rosa Red Sparkling Wine

An Italian frizzante with sweet, floral red berry scents and flavors of strawberry, blueberry and blackberry. This wine is best served chilled and is delicious with chocolate. It’s a dynamite value from Italy that’s imported to the United States by Arkansan Bruce Cochran.

Roederer Estate Brut

#27 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2018

Roederer Estate Brut, the first California sparkling wine produced by Champagne Louis Roederer, builds upon a 200-year tradition of fine winemaking that has made Roederer champagne among the most sought-after in the world.

Roederer's winemaking style is based on two elements: ownership of its own vineyards and the addition of oak-aged reserve wines to each year's blend or cuvee. All the grapes for the Anderson Valley wines are grown on the Estate.

Each year, the winemaker selects a portion of the best wines for aging in Center of France oak casks. Aged from one to three years, wines from this reserve cellar are added to the blend, creating a multi-vintage cuvee in the traditional Roederer style, known for its body, finesse and depth of flavor.

93 Pts. Wine Spectator
Seamless and silky, showing an almost effortless sense of complexity, with notes of lemon and pear paired with toasty brioche, fresh ginger and hazelnut details.

92 Pts. Wine Enthusiast
The fruit flavors are apparent, fresh and lively in this medium-bodied, beautifully balanced brut. Light pear and pineapple aromas are followed by richer pear and citrus flavors, and subtle hints of baking spices, almonds and a nice earthy touch emerge.

92 Pts. Wilfred Wong of
The Roederer Estate Brut has always garnered a special place amongst the folks in the wine trade. This is my go-to bubbly from anywhere in the New World and often in place of higher price bubblies from France and Italy. Yes, this one is as solid as they come. Medium straw color, refined beads; excellent aroma of ripe apples and light creaminess, maybe even a hint of hazelnut; medium bodied, delicately layered on the palate, excellent structure; dry, fine acidity, well balanced; complex flavors of ripe apples and cream; medium to long finish, fine nuances in the aftertaste. Peju Province Cabernet Franc
Napa Valley

This fragrant Cabernet Franc offers aromas of Marionberry pie, baking spice and white pepper with complementing notes of rose hip and tea leaves. On the palate, flavors of bing cherry, cacao nibs and vanilla bean mingle with light herbal notes. Supple tannins and a soft mouth feel wrap up into a complex and elegant wine. Delicious now, this Cabernet Franc will continue to mature for the next 5-7 years.

Zoll Grüner Veltliner

Extremely fine fragrance of exotic fruit, dense abundance of mellow, spicy aromas and generous body, ripe pears, pronounced mineral tones and a hint of tobacco on the palate, restrained hint of wood, extremely complex and sustained, nevertheless very close-knit and refined, needs lots of air, and then a gripping, seemingly endless spicy finish.

Widely versatile as a culinary accompaniment.
Harmonises just as well with asparagus and veal as with light poultry, stuffed peppers and as dessert with Emmentaler cheese.

Zull Riesling

Complex fragrance of flowers and ripe stone fruit, hints of mineralic herbal spices, delicate smoky finishes very clearly stemming from the terroir, boldly lingering on the palate, juicy fruits, vast depth, definitely needs time in the glass, long, powerful finish.

Dardano Dolcetto

Piedmont’s name means “foot of the mountain” and it aptly describes Piedmont’s location near the Alps, just east of France and south of Switzerland. For admirers of Nebbiolo wines, Piedmont is Italy’s most exalted region, since it is home to Barolo and Barbaresco. Barolo and Barbaresco are names of towns as well as names of the two most prestigious Piedmont DOCGs. Piedmont, with 142,000 vineyard acres, has seven DOCGs and fifty DOCs, the highest number of DOCS in any Italian wine zone. Despite its relatively northern location, its sometimes cool and frequently foggy weather, Piedmont produces mostly red wines. The Nebbiolo grape thrives in this climate and in fact takes its name from the Italian word for fog, “nebbia.” With its rich buttery food, majestic red wines and complicated vineyard system, Piedmont is often thought of as the Burgundy of Italy. As in Burgundy, Piedmont vineyards generally have well-established boundaries, and the vineyards are often divided into smaller parcels owned by several families. Though Nebbiolo is considered the most “noble” Piedmont grape, Barbera is actually the most widely planted grape. Dolcetto is the third most common red grape. White wines in Piedmont are made from Arneis, Cortese, Erbaluce and Moscato. Though Barolo and Barbaresco are the stars of the region, the easy-to-drink, sparkling “spumante” and “frizzante” wines of the Asti DOCG are the most widely produced. There are also Piedmont Indicazione Geographica Tipica (IGT) wines that are often an innovative blend of traditional and non-traditional grapes. This relatively new appellation status was started in 1992 as an attempt to give an official classification to Italy’s newer blends that do fit the strict requirements of DOC and DOCG classifications. IGT wines may use the name of the region and varietal on their label or in their name.

NEW Wines from FitVine

We love our workouts but we also love our wine!
With less sugar, fewer sulfites and no flavor additives, FitVine is proud to say they’ve created... GREAT TASTING WINES TO ENJOY TONIGHT WITHOUT SACRIFICING TOMORROW.

FitVine Wine was born when friends made a pact to craft amazing wines that also fit their lifestyles. FitVine's team is always on the go, whether they’re doing CrossFit, cycling, running, skiing, paddle boarding, or just enjoying the outdoors. They set about combining their love for wine and fitness with an ethic for sustainability.

To create wines that are clean tasting as well as rich in flavor and mouthfeel, FitVine wines go through an extended fermentation process. They ferment to dry, lowering sugar levels. In doing this, their wines average less than 1 gram of sugar per liter or less than 0.09 grams of sugar per glass. Not only does their proprietary process allow them to extract more color and tannins, they also filter all of their wines with both diatomaceous earth and micron pads so they are gluten free and vegan friendly. FitVine wines contain sulfites at < 35 ppm (parts per million).

FitVine Charddonay

FitVine's story doesn’t include fancy chateaus or barrels hewed from the limbs of majestic oaks. They’re OK with that and they think you will be too. That’s why they have made FitVine to simply be great tasting wine that you've come to expect. Aromas of pears and lemon custard, citrus swirls and a hint of vanilla. A full bodied dry wine with a long crisp finish. Finished in stainless steel instead of oak, this wine is clean and crisp while full flavored, double-filtered and cold stabilized.

FitVine Cabernet Sauvignon

Classic Cabernet nose of currant, lavender, black licorice and a hint of new oak. Rich purpose soft tannins wrap around flavors of cedar, boysenberry and coffee, chocolate with a hint of leather. Full flavored, clean taste with a smooth finish.

FitVine Sauvignon Blanc

Very light and crisp with lively zesty fruit flavors of passion fruit & white peach. Light mineral undertones create a unique yet characteristic mouth feel finish.

Gaston Chiquet Special Club Brut

“An absolutely fabulous aroma! Classic Chiquet Club, i.e. a riot of chalk, like Clos de Goisses with less brawn, and in this vintage with exquisite flowery shimmers; firm yet flowing; chalk and shade-grown tea giving spine; quince and orchid dissolve into a rippling breeze-dancing fruit. A candidate for greatness, especially contemplating the searching finish and its exquisite and fathomless intricacy.” -Terry Theise-
James Beard Award-winning wine importer

Contratto Millesimato Brut

“A blend of 80% Pinot Nero and 20% Chardonnay, the Metodo Classico Millesimato Pas Dosé ages on the yeasts for five years. Riddling is done by hand. This is a mid-weight sparkler that borders closely on being full-bodied. The mouthfeel is beautifully creamy and rich with abundant apricot, honey and sweet almond. I tasted this wine after a 30-wine flight of Barolos and Barbarescos and I cannot exaggerate how delicious and appealing this wine ultimately proved to be.”

Offers a palate of beautifully bright and vibrant, fresh fruit that is incredibly refreshing; with notes of white fruit, candied almonds and green apples. Exceptional on its own or a perfect with oysters, sashimi, light fish & salads. Millesimato is very dry.

Farmstrong Field Red Blend

(Carignane, Syrah)

This wine fills the glass with aromas of dark fruit, pencil shavings, grilled bread and hints of freshly ground white pepper, which are complemented by flavors of black plums, preserves, cranberry and warm Okanagan cherry clafouti that’s been cooked in a cast iron pan.
This wine has loads of fruit, mellow tannins and complex aromatics, it is a go-to red, she is super fun and refreshingly reliable. This is a blend from three of my growers and they are all sustainably dry farmed sites: 80+ years old Carignane from Hawkeye Ranch and 65+ year old Zinfandel from Knox Vineyard in Redwood Valley (53%), 120+ years old Carignane from Casa Roja Vineyard in Contra Costa (28%), Syrah from Ledgewood Vineyard in Suisun Valley (19%).

Mother's Materfamilias
Imperial Stout

News from Mother's Brewery: In 2019, the beer called MILF will henceforth be known as Materfamilias.

The craft brewing industry is not static and breweries are constantly evolving. This is a big reason that US craft continues to lead the world in the future of beer. Your Mother’s is no exception.

That philosophy has led Mother's to make another change. Mother's barrel-aged imperial stout MILF will be getting a new name. Starting with the 2019 release, this coveted beer will be known as Materfamilias. Why would we make such a drastic change to a brand that has been a consistent winner over the course of our seven years?

The original name is based on the joke that likely needs no explanation. When we were a fledgling brewery, ‘MILF’ fit the irreverent stance we were introducing ourselves with. Over time, we’ve come to realize that what first seemed cheeky and funny no longer fits us or this beer. Nor does the name ‘MILF’ reflect the effort and devotion we put into making the liquid. This is our most time consuming and labor intensive beer. It’s the beer we choose as the fitting end to a perfect evening with friends and family. It is a beer that we will confidently put alongside any beer in the world. It deserves a name that reflects its pedigree.

Materfamilias is Latin for ‘female head of the house.’ No other beer we make commands as much attention and devotion as she. From the brewhouse to the barrels, your Mother’s remains at the service of this exquisite imperial stout. In the aging process, the beer’s interaction with the wood of bourbon, rye whiskey, rum, and brandy barrels dictates the composition of the final blend. Materfamilias cannot be rushed. It cannot be forced. It brooks no compromise. The result is a stout of such complexity and nuance that you, too, will recognize the authority of your Materfamilias.
